Password, two-factor authentication, calendar sync, and LINE

Navigate to Settings in the sidebar. Under the Password section:

  1. Enter your current password.
  2. Enter the new password (minimum 12 characters).
  3. Repeat the new password to confirm.
  4. Press “Change password”.

2FA adds a second layer of security. After entering your password at login, you also need a one-time code from an authenticator app.

  1. Tap “Set up 2FA” — The system generates a QR code.
  2. Scan with your authenticator app — Use Google Authenticator, Authy, or any TOTP-compatible app. Scan the QR code shown on screen.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code — Type the code from the app into the field and press “Activate”.
  4. 2FA is now active — Status shows “🟢 2FA is active.” You will only need the code on new devices.

Under the 2FA section, press “Disable 2FA” and enter your current password to confirm.

The booking system can sync with an external calendar so that confirmed bookings appear in your personal calendar app, and any events you add there are shown in the miraBOOK calendar as “External” (grey) — preventing double-bookings.

  1. Under Google Calendar, press “Connect Google Calendar”.
  2. A Google sign-in page opens. Log in with the Google account you want to use.
  3. Approve the calendar access permission.
  4. You are redirected back to the admin. Status shows “✓ Connected”.

To disconnect: press “Disconnect”.

  1. Under CalDAV Calendar, enter your username and app password.
  2. Press “Connect”.
  3. If multiple calendars exist on the account, select the correct one from the dropdown.
  4. Status shows “✓ Connected”.

LINE is the messaging app most Thai guests use every day. miraBOOK works with it in three ways:

  • Sign in with LINE — Guests can book without typing an email — see Chapter 2.6. Confirmations then arrive as a rich card in LINE.
  • Confirm from LINE (staff) — When a new booking arrives, staff receive a card in LINE with Accept / Decline buttons — you can confirm without opening the admin panel.
  • Reminders & follow-ups — Reminders, win-back, and review messages (Chapter 11) reach LINE guests as LINE cards.
  • Followers list — Settings shows the LINE users connected to your venue, so you can see who is reachable via LINE.

The LINE Followers table in Settings lists connected users; each row can be toggled on/off or removed. LINE setup (the official account and keys) is handled by miraTEQ.
