Pausing a Treatment

Take a single treatment out of the booking form for a while, without deleting anything

Open Treatments in the sidebar:

Here you can temporarily take a treatment out of the booking widget, for example when a device is broken. Paused treatments are hidden from guests and cannot be booked. Existing appointments are untouched.

22.1 Pausing and offering again

Every treatment you offer is listed with one button:

Button	What happens
Pause	The treatment disappears from the booking form straight away. Guests no longer see it and cannot choose it.
Offer again	It returns to the form immediately.

A paused treatment stays in the list with a “paused” tag, so you can see at a glance what is currently off.

Appointments already booked are safe

Pausing only affects new bookings. Guests who already booked that treatment keep their appointment, and it still appears in your calendar and lists as usual. Nothing is cancelled and nobody is notified.

22.2 When to use it

Situation	Better than
A machine is broken, the treatment needs it	Cancelling bookings one by one after they come in

A product is out of stock	Removing the treatment and adding it back later

Remember to switch it back on

There is no automatic end date. A paused treatment stays paused until you press “Offer again”. If you pause something for a broken device, put a note in your calendar for the day the repair is due.

Who sees this page

Treatments is only in the sidebar if your business actually offers treatments to choose from. A venue that takes table reservations without a treatment list does not have this page. It is visible to the owner, not to team accounts (Chapter 21), and every pause is recorded in the Activity log (Chapter 23).
