11.1 The difference in one sentence

Save keeps your change inside miraCMS. Publish puts it on your website.

As long as you have only saved, no visitor sees any of it. You can work in peace, carry on tomorrow, and publish only once everything is right.

11.2 Saving

Press “Save” as soon as a piece of text is finished. The preview shows your version, the website still shows the old one.

11.3 Publishing

  1. Press “Publish” at the top
  2. The window “Publish to live” shows what changed, and on how many pages
  3. Press “Publish now”

Your text is on the website after that. If it says “Nothing to publish”, everything is already out there.

11.4 Letting someone look first

“Create preview link” gives you an address you can send to someone. Whoever opens it sees your new version without it being on the website. Useful for a second opinion before you publish.
