Put the ordering app on your iPad
Fourteen steps and your ordering panel sits on the Home Screen as an app of its own, with new orders arriving straight away. You only ever tap where the pink marker is.
-
Switch to “Owner”. Sign-in starts on the PIN keypad your staff use. Tap “Owner” at the top.
→ The keypad is replaced by a password field.

-
Enter your password and sign in. Type your owner password and tap “Sign in”.
→ Your panel opens.

-
Tap your name, top right. Tap your name in the top right corner.
→ A small menu opens.

-
Tap “Install app”. In the menu, tap “Install app”.
→ A note explains the next two steps.

-
Tap “OK”. Read the note and tap “OK”.

-
Tap “Share” at the top. At the top right of Safari, tap the Share icon (the square with the arrow pointing up).

-
Tap “Add to Home Screen”. In the menu, tap “Add to Home Screen”. If you cannot see it, scroll the menu up a little.

-
Tap “Add”. The name of your venue is already there. Tap “Add” in the top right corner.
→ The icon is now on your Home Screen.

-
Open the app. Tap the new icon.
→ From now on, always open the panel from there, not through Safari.

-
Tap “Owner” once more. The app has storage of its own, so it asks for the password again. Tap “Owner” again.
→ This only happens the first time you open it.

-
Enter your password and sign in. Type your owner password and tap “Sign in”.
→ You are now signed in inside the app.

-
Open “Notifications”. In the tab bar at the top, tap “🔔 Notifications”.

-
Switch it on. Tap the “Turn notifications on” button.
→ The iPad asks you right away.

-
Tap “Allow”. Tap “Allow”.
→ Done. New orders and waiter calls now reach this iPad straight away, even when the app is closed.

That’s it.
