Undoing changes
Take back a change before saving, take back a publication, and get older texts back
12.1 Before saving
Section titled “12.1 Before saving”Typed something and want the old text back? “Reset” in the edit panel restores the saved version of that field. Other fields stay as they are.
12.2 Taking the last publication back
Section titled “12.2 Taking the last publication back”Published, and it was not right after all? Press “Publish” again. If there is a publication to take back, the window shows below the summary:
“The website will show the version from 14:32 again. Your texts in miraCMS stay as they are.”
Press “Undo last publish”. Your website then shows the state it had before.
Your texts inside miraCMS stay exactly as they are. You only take the website back, not your work. Correct the text calmly and publish again afterwards.
This needs the right to publish, like publishing itself.
12.3 When undoing does not work
Section titled “12.3 When undoing does not work”| Message | What it means |

| “There is nothing to undo yet.” | There is no earlier publication to go back to yet |
| “There is no backup copy to undo for this project.” | Your website is not set up for it yet. Tell us |
| “Something else was published since then. This version can no longer be restored.” | Only the latest publication can be taken back. Correct the text and publish again |
For any other message, write to us and copy its text.
12.4 Older versions of a text
Section titled “12.4 Older versions of a text”miraCMS keeps every saved version of every text, with the name of whoever saved it. The history itself is not shown in customer logins. If you need an older text back, tell us which page and roughly when, and we restore it.
