Categories
Create, reorder, and manage categories for your products or services
If your business offers several types of products or services, miraCMS lets you group them into categories, for example “Drinks”, “Main Dishes”, or “Facial Treatments”, so customers can find what they’re looking for more easily on your website.
5.1 Opening category management
Section titled “5.1 Opening category management”In the category bar on the left, press Edit to enter category management mode. Press it again (the button now reads Done) to leave this mode.
5.2 Creating a new category
Section titled “5.2 Creating a new category”While in management mode, type the category name into the field at the bottom and press +.
5.3 Renaming, adding a photo, or deleting a category
Section titled “5.3 Renaming, adding a photo, or deleting a category”Each category in management mode has a few small controls:

| Square photo frame | Tap to upload or change the category’s photo |
| Pencil icon | Rename the category |
| Trash icon | Delete this category |
If the category you’re deleting still contains items, the system asks you to choose which category to move those items to first, so nothing accidentally disappears from your website.
5.4 Moving an item to a different category
Section titled “5.4 Moving an item to a different category”Outside of management mode, you can drag an item from the list on the right and drop it onto a category name on the left to move it there instantly, no need to open the edit form.
