Categories
Add, rename, sort and delete the categories of your catalogue
Categories group your entries, for example “Drinks” and “Main dishes”, or the brands whose documents you offer. On your website they appear in the same order as in miraCMS.
5.1 Managing categories
Section titled “5.1 Managing categories”At the top of the category bar sits “Edit”. Press it, and every category gets its controls:

| Picture frame | Add or change the picture of the category, for a brand its logo |
| Pencil | Rename the category |
| Bin | Delete the category |
At the bottom of the bar, type the name of a new category and press +. When you are done, press “Done”.
If the category you delete still holds entries, miraCMS asks which category they should move to first. Nothing disappears from your website by accident.
5.2 Moving an entry to another category
Section titled “5.2 Moving an entry to another category”Outside the edit mode, drag an entry from the list onto a category on the left. It moves there at once, no form needed. A note above the list says the same, for example “Drag a product onto a Manufacturer on the left to move it”, with the word your categories carry on your website.
